I have a pile of these door stop parts cut and waiting for sewing inspiration. This one was a present to a dear friend and I chose the fabrics that I thought might fit her home nicely. Stripey fabric and the handle fabric from Ikea, red fabric from Almedahls. Lots of sand (in a plastic bag) and wadding inside. Pattern is my own.
I don't necessarily think my door stops are pretty but they sure are very practical. I need to make a few more to our house now that the weather is so warm and nice and doors are open all the time.

I think the red fabric is pretty! I need to make one of these for my sewing room door, it swings shut and annoys me!
Thanks, Wendy! I got the red fabric remnants from my mum. I am also going to make a bag from the same fabric, hopefully sometime soon.
